University Business Co-operation Conference
Date
Wednesday 26 November 2014 -
18:00 to 21:00
Location
New Town Hall, Thessaloniki

Exploring the connection and relationship between academia and the labour market, we invite you to the University-Business Co-operation Conference, which we're organising in Thessaloniki jointly with the British Graduates Society (BGS), supported by the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Units of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the University of Macedonia under the auspices of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.

As part of the discussion, a panel of academics – as well as representatives from Thessaloniki’s business world – will present their own experiences in relation to Greek reality, and discuss issues relating to the findings of the Europe-wide research project conducted by the BGS's team of academics. These findings were first presented at an event we organised in Athens in March with BGS. In addition, the Thessaloniki event will – for the first time – feature the results of primary research conducted by the BGS Economics Group into relevant issues among young entrepreneurs in Greece.

The event will also include a screening of a pre-recorded interview with Professor Sir Tim Wilson, author of The Wilson Review – A Review of Business-University Collaboration, who will present the UK experience of University-Business co-operation.
