IELTS in Greece

IELTS is widely accepted here in Greece. Many leading Greek universities, private colleges and other institutions of higher education, as well as private employers and government agencies (including ASEP), recognise IELTS scores as a trusted and valid indicator of ability to communicate in English.

IELTS and the Common European Framework (CEFR)

IELTS is also recognised by the Council of Europe.

The Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) provides a basis for the mutual recognition of language qualifications, thus facilitating educational and occupational mobility.
