Date

Location
Helexpo, Thessaloniki

The UK is guest of honour at this year’s Thessaloniki International Book Fair, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary.

In collaboration with the National Book Centre and the Ministry of Culture, we have been working hard behind the scenes for months to curate and organise a rich and diverse programme of literary and cultural events – including talks, book presentations, readings and workshops – and we’re delighted to be able to announce the nine award-winning writers who will be representing the UK at this important literary and publishing forum:

  • Michael Arditti
  • Jonathan Coe
  • Andrew Crumey
  • Rachel Cusk
  • David Harsent
  • Victoria Hislop
  • Suzanne Joinson
  • David Nicholls
  • Celia Rees

The UK writers’ delegation features both internationally acclaimed and up-and-coming writers representing a variety of genres – from poetry to children’s literature – and a wide range of trends and styles covering everything from fictionalised auto-biographies to philosophical and travel literature.

We’re looking forward to an exciting and thought-provoking four-day programme of literary events, reflecting the vibrant and diverse contemporary UK literary scene.
