In partnership with Sustainable School, an Elliniki Etairia (Society for the Environment and Cultural Heritage) programme, and in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Attica and the A’ Athens Directorate of Primary Education – School Activities, under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, and with the support of the Eugenides Foundation and the 6th Lyceum of Kallithea, we are organising an international symposium entitled Sustainable School: Vision, Actions, Perspectives.
Participants will discuss the synergies that can take place between educational organisations and agencies, and other bodies in order to promote the concept of the ‘Sustainable School’ in Greece. Experts from the UK and Cyprus will also share experiences from their respective countries.
The symposium will begin with a series of talks and discussions on Friday 6 November 2015 at the Eugenides Foundation and will conclude with a series of workshops that will take place on Saturday 7 November 2015 at the 6th Lyceum of Kallithea.
Simultaneous interpretation from Greek into English and vice versa, as well as into Greek sign language, will be provided on the first day of the symposium.
