We're renewing our appointment with European Researchers' Night, the annual mega event celebrating science and research, which takes place simultaneously in several hundred cities across Europe and beyond.
Join us at this year’s celebrations being held in eight cities all over Greece – Athens, Thessaloniki, Patras, Trikala, Corinth, Pylos, Rhodes and Heraklion – and discover what researchers really do and why it matters for our daily life! The theme of this year's events is ‘Science and technology for a better future’.
The world of research will open its doors to students and educators through presentations, experiments, interactive activities designed for students, teachers’ workshops, artistic events and a photo competition organised to mark the International Year of Light 2015.
Six pre-events will take place before the main event aimed at raising awareness of the aims of both European Researchers' Night and of the organisers.
Admission is free.

About Researchers' Night
Researchers’ Night is a European Commission programme initiated in 2005, which, having since gained its place among the most important initiatives to promote science, is celebrated simultaneously in all participating cities on the last Friday of September every year. The activity is part of the People programme (Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions) under the auspices of the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme.
