What is Hall of FameLab?
Finalists in the Greek competition return to the FameLab stage to captivate audiences and the jury with a series of three-minute scientific presentations. As in the FameLab competition itself, the goal of the speakers is to present a scientific topic of their choice in a way that is understandable to the general public, entertaining and scientifically accurate. A panel of judges will evaluate the presentations, and make recommendations or give praise. Not to be missed!
What is FameLab International?
FameLab is organised by the British Council and aims to encourage young scientists to share their vision for 21st century science and technology. It was launched in the United Kingdom in 2005 by the Cheltenham Science Festival to attract young people who have a passion for science and the talent to share their enthusiasm and knowledge with the general public. FameLab International takes place in June each year in Cheltenham with the participation of finalists from the national competitions from more than 30 countries, including Greece.
